Jamie Bird is returning to Soul Drums, fresh off his graduation from the University of Western Ontario's, Bachelor of Musical Arts program with a focus in Percussion performance, where he studied under Dr. Jill Ball. During his five years at UWO he was an active participant in the UWO Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, and held the post of Musical Director for the award winning Western Mustang Band for three seasons.

As a professional percussionist, Jamie has taught drums in the London area, at the Sweet Music Centre. With Jamie's extensive knowledge of percussion instruments, he can help your school's percussion section rebound back to life, with the Soul Drums in-school servicing and maintenance program.
