Come actualize your teams potential through the guidance of a masterful teacher, speaker and performer.
Throughout history community music making, especially drumming, has the power to bring people together. With all the distractions we have in today’s society, from the personality conflicts, the diversity in our culture, to the constant changes we all face, it becomes a challenge to offer each other the attention needed to support one another.
Over the last 15 years I have focused my intentions on studying Community Service, and Professional Public Speaking. I combine these energies and intentions with Multi-Cultural Drumming, Oneness and Music Circles, which results in a very powerful experience of metaphors in life and learning.
The platform for this program is always customized for each client, but the main theme of integrating Spirit with Values-Centered Leadership is often presented. By using positive intentions, human rhythmic energy, as well as inspirational and effective communication skills, we will learn that our core values are related and that the whole group cannot exist without each individual’s diverse contribution. I use the values and principles of Lance Secretans’ ( www.secretan.com) ONENESS philosophy, and will demonstrate the principles that are parallel in every successful community and team.
The process naturally evolves in this "hands-on" workshop, with the participants bringing to life the "Keys to the Castle". We achieve this using storytelling, as well as focusing on intentionality and Leadership skills.
Eventually musical and percussive versions of each of the "Key-Values" will be performed by the entire group.
These key values are as follows- C representing courage; A, represents authenticity; S represents serving others; T represents truth telling; L represents love, outward and inward, and E represents effectiveness. Lance and I have had very positive results and comments when using these Techniques, as it establishes a wonderful sense of Oneness.
We take successful steps forward together, slowly integrating Boomwhackers, talking drums, and then many percussion instruments, we develop powerful team energy. As each value is reviewed , discussed, and then performed, the quality of the music excels. We end up with a focused and highly advanced musical drum circle final performance. For the close, I include a very grounding and personally fulfilling short meditation, using one of my unique percussion instruments called an Ocean drum. The meditation is often a customized voice over that establishes a strong bond of commitment between the participants to the team, project, community or theme of the day.
