Extreme Velocity. Serious Power.
Over the years, one of the greatest challenges facing drum pedal manufacturers has been to provide a pedal that “does it all”. Or at the very least, focuses on the most critical features that drummers absolutely demand to enhance their performance. A difficult task, by any means. By today’s standards the two most important features desired are speed and power. With most pedals, if you adjust the playability to address speed, you can sometimes lose power. And if you focus primarily on the feeling of power, you sometimes lose the desired speed. Now, the rules have changed. TAMA has Speed Cobra that delivers not only pure raw aggression and power, but lightening fast speed!
3000 Series pedals are designed for every drummer. Big on features like dual-chain Turbo drive, bearing rocker assembly, 101 2-way beater and heavy-duty all-metal construction and more, with a price tag that’s in reach for more drummers. We think well-made pedals shouldn’t just be for the pros, they should be for all drummers.
The Iron Cobra continues to evolve! TAMA’s innovative Cobra Coil pedal spring accelerates the return of the footboard to its original position. The result is unbelievably effortless action that sets the already smooth Iron Cobra apart from all other pedals on the market. The Cobra Coil is a standard feature on all Iron Cobra models.
Power Glide off-set cam pedals are typically chosen by players who want steady, powerful, and speedy action.
Heavy Duty case included!
AN INDUSTRY STANDARD GETS EVEN BETTER We’ve reengineered the pedal that established our reputation for innovation and quality. Because innovation is part of our DNA we thought it was time for some major improvements. Most notably, the toe clamp. The 5000 needed more gripping strength, providing a stronger connection between the drummer and kick drum. So, we developed the Tri-Pivot Toe Clamp. Three independent 360 degree, rotating rubber pads firmly pinch almost any diameter and thickness bass drum counter hoop from the top and the bottom, with zero slippage. Add to that a new textured rubber grip pad on the base plate and we think you’ll agree that there’s never been a better system for attaching a pedal to a bass drum. Last, but certainly not least, we wanted to improve on the smoothness and feel of the 5000, if that was even possible. To accomplish this, we added a Dual Bearing Spring Rocker, making the 5000 quicker and more responsive.
Featuring a host of refinements and upgrades, the legendary line of 5000 Series bass drum pedals still features a choice of drive systems, aluminum hex shafts, pedal plates and linkages, 101 two-way beater, and built in spurs. These pedals can be customized to fit the needs of any player.
The 5002 is also available in a “Lefty” version.
(U.S. Patent Nos. 5204485, 4756224, 5431081, 5578777. Foreign Patents Pending.)
The Accelerator™ (AD4) drive system offers an eccentric motion that creates an indirect relationship between the sprocket and the footboard, increasing the velocity of the pedal by shortening the length of the stroke. It is recommended for situations that require increased speed and sensitivity.
The Turbo™ (TD4) concentric drive system maintains a direct relationship between the sprocket and the footboard to provide a solid, powerful, consistent feel and response.
The Round Rider seat features a more rounded and gentle shape. The lower PVC seams mean less restriction of leg motion, so you can play with more comfort.
Also, the dimple on the bottom of the seat provides a soft but solid feeling that allows drummers to play at their best.
Light weight hardware often gives the impression that it is cheap, not functional or durable enough. The Canopus lightweight hardware was engineered to provide effective function and durability for professional use, utilizing space age concepts that enhance performance.
Adjusting your rack toms and snare drum just got easier. With recent advancements in drum manufacturing and hardware design, everything seems to weigh more these days. From counter hoops to metal shells and lugs, more than ever, instruments are built to last. As a result, making a simple height adjustment on toms or snare drums has become a challenge. Enter, revolutionary new Airlift hardware. The secret is a pneumatic shock that effortlessly allows drums to float on a cushion of air for quick, effortless and exact adjustments every time. The patented, Randall May-designed system is available in our top-selling, road-proven 9300 snare stand.
A cymbal stand that’s used by more top professionals than any other. Drummer-friendly features like toothless tilter with Techlock, adjustable cymbal seat, integrated memory locks and heavy-gauge tubing make these stands road worthy and reliable beyond compare.
The true originals never really go out of style; they just improve with age. Created to be highly portable for the drummer on the go, Ludwig’s new Atlas Classic Series Hardware is precision engineered for higher function and increased durability. The simple, light-weight approach of our original flat-based stands is enhanced with modern appointments, while retaining the core elements of their predecessors.
* Aerodisc Bottom Cymbal Tilter (Patent Pend.): A unique, revolving approach allowing the player to position the bottom hat cymbal to any angle and lock it in place.
* Adjustable spring tension
* Acculite Sustain Feet (Patent Pend): Standard on all Atlas Classic stands, Acculite Sustain Feet are designed to increase placement versatility compared to other flat based stands. Their dual-slot design allows for unrestricted, overlapping positioning using alternating heights on companion stands. Acculite’s bottom chamber further creates a sonic barrier between the stand and the floor, improving resonance from mounted cymbals, toms and snare drums.
* Upper tripod lock for rock-solid stability
* Foldable wire base for compact storage and portability
* Easily replaceable cymbal sleeve
* Simple, durable construction.
* SpurLok Heel Plate Anchors: Added stability and grip to insure solid, slip-free performance located directly under the heel plate for improved stability.

* Insulated tube joint clamps
Great for band and orchestral percussionists.
